No matter who you are, you have probably struggled with self-control.
When you are feeling a negative energy, like hatred, fear or anger. You will find that you Lose Control of your emotional and spiritual self.
However, I have learned some tricks and techniques to lower these negative effects and to return yourself to a grounded state
Due to the numerous traumas that I have had to overcome throughout my life. I have sought help from a mental health counselor. These tips may help you to regain a sense of balance and to continue to grow your spirit in a healthy way.
First you need to remember the acronym T I P P
Temperature.
Intense exercise.
Pace breathing.
Progressive muscle tension and relaxation.
Sometimes, when we are caught in an intense moment of heated aggression or panic, our thoughts will cycle. And uh, we will have no control over them.
Extreme temperatures create a shock that brings us back to a more grounded awareness.
When angry, put an ice pack on the back of your neck or the back of your wrist and this will help shock you back to a level awareness.
Heat can also do this using a heating pad. Or something along those lines, a hot shower? Or if you like to cold better and it shocks, you better a cold shower.
This shock will break your spiraling or cycling thought patterns immediately.
Second is intense exercise. push-ups, sit-ups, fast, walking, running or a good workout that lasts 20 minutes and get to your heart beating faster and you’re blood pumping, we’ll inevitably help
This intense exercise will, of course, burn off that negative energy relatively quickly and you will find yourself more calm and more grounded when finished.
Pace, breathing is the third technique. box, breathing or square, breathing or elevator breathing. We’ll help you to regain your focus.
Breathing in for 4 seconds, holding it for 4 seconds breathing out for 4 seconds and holding that for 4 seconds. And then continuing is an example of box, breathing or square breathing
Bringing your hands up from a low point near your belly, to high up. As you breathe in and then putting your hands back down. Slowly as you breathe out is an example of elevator breathing
Doing this will slow your thought processes down and return you to a more grounded and positive state
The fourth technique is progressive muscle tension and release
You can start at either the top or the bottom of your body. And this is the technique that I find works best for the Phoenix.
Starting from the bottom, tighten all the muscles in your feet. As tightly as you can and hold that for 10 seconds and then release the muscles, and you will feel the tension, leaving that area
Next, move on, repeating this process with your calf muscles. Then your thighs and your buttocks and your hips, and then your stomach muscles and then your chest muscles and then your arms and hands and lastly, your neck and jaw.
It is important to remember to hold the muscles tightly for 10 seconds and then focus on the release of the tension and the loosening of your muscles
This particular technique can be practiced anywhere without any real visible signs that you are doing anything to change your mood or control your emotions.
When we experience high levels of anger or fear, our primitive reptilian brain takes over and we enter into a fight or flight pattern.
When in this state, it is almost impossible to reason effectively. So these techniques will help to reduce your flighter, fight emotions
Once you’re grounded, you will be able to reason better. And you will be able to assess the situation more accurately.
As yoda said, the force is to be used for knowledge and defense. Never attack.
Once you are common at peace within yourself and that negative energy has been burned or transmuted into something more positive, you will be able to assess the situation. And you will be able to accept the things that you cannot change. And be much more grounded in your life.
When you challenge the thought processes that led you to anger or hatred or fear, you will begin to challenge those thoughts. And you will see that you may not agree, but there isn’t much you can do about the situation you are in. That is and creating that anger
Removing yourself from the presence of someone who angers you or from a situation that leads you to hatred will also reduce those feelings and those emotions.
As you grow both spiritually and mentally you will begin to find it easier to control those negative emotions. And then turn them into something far more healthy and positive
The answers you are looking for and the ways to move forward in a healthy way. Become more apparent and you become more adept at challenging. The negative thought processes that you have learned throughout your life.
Fear, jealousy, greed, anger and hatred. All lower your emotional frequency and your vibration. But when you challenge them when you find a way to step outside of your box and you look at things with calm and peace within your heart and soul, you will see that the answers are readily available.
Practicing these steps that I have provided will eventually allow you to have much more rational thought processes. And we’ll help you with a basic better understanding of the universe around you and the people around you.
Thank you very much for reading, and I hope that these tips help you in your evolution in life.
With love, as always Daniel1Phoenix
